We seek to grow daily in developing the heart of the Father, the lifestyle of Jesus, and the ability to share the gospel and serve others in the power of the Spirit.

Sunday Morning Sermon Series

Religious fanatics trying to take over the world. Personal stress levels out of control. The global economy in turmoil. Pandemic viruses, shortages and rising violence threatening life itself. This is not simply a recap of news from 2009, it is what is prophesied in the book of Revelation when the end of times begins to unfold (see Revelation 6:1-8). Yet the focus of this book is not primarily on the trouble ahead, but of the Sovereign God and the Overcoming Church that will be fully revealed in such troubled times.

 

Are we at the end of time? There are days in which it sure feels like it! I know this, we are closer to that reality than ever before, and things in our world are changing faster than anyone can keep up with.

In determining what to focus our Sunday morning teaching on to begin 2010, I was surprised when I felt the Lord lead me to do a series on Revelation. I am convinced that it has timely insights for the day in which we live, and the days that are to come. We will start off this journey tomorrow looking at Jesus as both Lion and Lamb. Along the way we will look at the amazingly powerful church that is about to be revealed, the Beast and its mark, times of tribulation, seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls, the promise of sevenfold blessings to those who overcome, and the marriage of the Bride to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
