Mommy and Me Room

Sunday Morning Service
The Garden Community Church has set aside a special room for mothers who want to nurse their infants away from other activity. The room has cushioned rockers and a video/audio feed so you will not miss the adult service. Ask an usher and they will direct you the the Mommy & Me room.
Nursery

Sunday Morning Service
Babies are important people at GCC. The GCC Garden Nursery provides a safe, clean, spirtually stimulating environment that allows our little ones (6 - 23 months) to interact with other children, explore new experiences, expect the familiar, and grow in the foundation of God's boundless love for them.

We strive to be more than just a place to drop off your children, but rather a home away from home that your children look forward to visiting, feeling safe during their stay. With Matthew 18:5 as our mandate, we gladly receive your little ones as an important part of God's Kingdom.

Nursery Verse

If you have any questions please contact our Nursery Coordinator, Rachelle Kirkindoll or Pastor Terry Kirkindoll.

Crying Policy/Pager System
You will be assigned a pager when you check in your child. A nursery worker will page you if your child has been crying for more than 10 minutes, if your child becomes ill, or if your child has been injured.

Sick Baby Policy
We would like to keep all our children as healthy as possible, so please do not put your child in the nursery if they have any of the following symptoms:

  • He/she has had a fever during the past 24 hours.
  • He/she has diarrhea.
  • He/she has a cold that is less than four days old.
  • He/she has a heavy nasal discharge.
  • He/she is fussy, cranky, or extremely tired.
  • He/she has symptoms of a possible communicable disease (i.e.: head lice)

Injury Policy
In the event that your child is injured, you will be immediately notified. If it is a minor instance (i.e.: hitting) and your child is not hurt, and "ouch report" will be filled out and you will be notified when you pick up your child. If an infant is biting, hitting, or hurting other infants on a continual basis, the parent will be asked to keep their child out of the nursery until the behavior has been changed.
