Family to Family Mentoring helps grow healthy families by providing mentors to guide and encourage those who are grappling with the myriad of challenges that face families trying to overcome poverty and at-risk conditions. Hundreds of people have found the support needed to transform their lives — moving from welfare to self-sufficiency — as a result of caring volunteer mentors who have been trained by Family to Family Mentoring. Family to Family’s broad range of mentoring services, along with its comprehensive curriculum, effectively strike at the heart of issues that keep people from reaching their potential.

E3 Performing Arts

Article Pic E3 Performing Arts provides a creative alternative to traditional day care. Students discover and develop their unique purpose and creativity as they engage in a broad spectrum of the arts, academic enrichment, physical activities, and character education in after-school and day camp programs. E3’s classes give students in grades K-6 rich exposure to diverse art forms, including drama, tap dance, ballet, jazz dance, vocal and instrumental music, visual arts, and gymnastics. The program’s comprehensive offerings also provide abundant support for students to improve their academic skills and physical fitness. E3’s broad dimensions of learning extend to character education as caring instructors both model and employ “teachable moments” to nurture life-building character traits, such as kindness, self-control, and teamwork. E3’s after-school program, along with summer, winter, and spring camps, enable busy families to conveniently maximize opportunities for lifelong learning.

The Garden Preschool and Infant Care nurtures comprehensive readiness for success in school and life.
